Assistant
Marta loves all creative things. She sews, crochet and knits. For her stand at St. Georges market she is using a combination of Irish linen and traditional Polish fabrics. You can recognise the cultural references immediately in her project bags, pinafores, and shawls.

My first class with Kasia was an Alterations Workshop at Tesco Knocknaghoney. It was a very calm environment with small numbers, there was plenty of attention from Kasia. She covered how to measure correctly for hemming and completing an invisible zip. I honestly thought there is no way I'm going to be able to do this. I sure did, hemmed a pair of trousers, a skirt and replaced a broken zip on a skirt. I was shown how to lookout for mistakes and how to have a crisp and professional finish. I walked away having learned the art of blind hemming by machine. I have since mended and hemmed a few items with confidence, I put that down to the way I was taught by Kasia.
